Moody's Wall Street Analytics (MWSA) is a leading financial software
provider in the specialised area of asset securitisation. MWSA's
applications are used by a wide range of market participants to model
and evaluate collateralised debt obligations (CDO) and mortgage-backed
securities (MBS).
Key Responsibilities-Work closely with our customers in the implementation of our suite of
fixed income products. -Assist our clients in the development and roll out of solutions for
them, using our top of the line analytic software. -Support and training of current clients, answering questions on
MWSA's software applications, as well as explaining the underlying
financial and analytical concepts behind our business. -Work in partnership with other Moody's professionals with the mutual
aim of developing and delivering solutions to the finance industry. -Provide day-to-day tactical spreadsheet support around complex pricing
and risk issues. -Development and maintenance of existing and new data
infrastructure, working with raw data for research and automated
trading environments. -Enhancing the reliability of data feeds,
performance-tuning databases, and constructing robust data retrieval
and archive systems. -Inventing tools and strategies to enable and
support the business activities of our clients businesses. -Interfacing with the real-time and quantitative trading systems.
Qualifications/Experience -Must be educated to degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a
numerical or quantitative discipline ie: Finance, Maths and
Engineering. -Knowledge of Excel VBA or VBscript programming languages. -Must have
previous experience of working in a front office, spreadsheet based
Excel / VBA tactical development team. -Strong analytic and quantitative skills. -Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel. -Strong written and
verbal communication skills-Knowledge of / interest in Structured
Finance. -English essential; German or French language skills desirable.
Further European languages would be a bonus -Strong attention to
detail. -Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong
professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and
external parties. -Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate
appropriately with the team and other areas within Moody's. - Highly organised, good time management skills and able to work in a
pressurised deadline driven environment. Location : London
